Being in the thick of my own postnatal period when the whole country (world!) is in lockdown, I’ve been thinking about how this rapid behaviour change is having both good and saddening side effects on families.
You literally couldn’t write what has happened in the world since our last general update in February. The world has quite literally turned upside down!
A few weeks ago, no one could have predicted the uncertainty we are now facing around what to expect from our maternity care options on the day we are going to birth our babies.
There was no way Soph wasn’t going to have some kind of baby celebration, she’s organised many over the years, including mine which she actually held at her house- so now was her time to be celebrated as a mama!
