This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from www.themindfulbirthgroup.com (the “Site”).

 

Personal information we collect

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. How do we use your personal information?

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. For example, we use Circle  to power our online community, and Monday to store information.

Your rights

If you are an EU resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.

Additionally, if you are an EU resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfil contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of the EU, including to Canada and the United States.

Data retention

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.


Terms and Conditions – PregnaHub Subscriptions

Subscriptions are due on monthly basis from when you start your subscription agreement.

You will be reminded before payment needs to be made or in the case of automatic renewals before monies are taken.

Subscriptions can be cancelled at anytime but refunds will not be made.

 

Terms & Conditions – Parent Courses

Participant Cancellation

Up to 6 weeks before the course start date: 70% of the course fee is refundable up until 6 weeks before the course start date.

6 weeks or less: No refund will be available.

In all cases, an alternative option will be offered which may be in-person or on Zoom. We will always take special circumstances into consideration, please contact hello@themindfulbirthgroup.com to discuss.

 

Terms and conditions – Teacher Training

Participant Cancellation or postponement

The fee will be repaid promptly and in full in the very unlikely event of the teacher training course being cancelled. These are the only circumstances under which a full refund will be made.

The fee is 100% due should you need to cancel or amend the course date that you are booked into if made less than four weeks before the course start.

The fee will be 50% refundable should you need to cancel or amend the course date that you are booked into if made less than eight weeks but more than four weeks before the course start.

Any amendment made, with more than eight weeks to your course date, will incur a £200.00 administration charge.


Intellectual property

Any recording or written material whether in hard copy or electronic included as part of this course and all rights worldwide (including Intellectual Property Rights) relating thereto respectively are the sole property of The Mindful Birth Group® Ltd, or others from whom such rights may be derived (whether or not protected by trademark and copyright laws) and may not be used other than for the personal use of the participant in face-to-face courses while they are a registered teacher of The Mindful Birth Group® Ltd without obtaining prior written permission. The participant agrees not to record the course or any part thereof.


GDPR

The participant also agrees that The Mindful Birth Group® Ltd shall hold your details on file and on computer and, in accordance with the GDPR Act 2018, you have the right to view, amend or delete your individual file by giving not less than seven days’ written notice. We treat your personal data with the utmost care and keep only relevant information to process your booking or membership. We will not sell or give your information to a 3rd party.


Hypnobirthing Disclaimer

Using Hypnobirthing techniques is not a substitute for the advice of or the presence during birth or any part of pregnancy or labour of a qualified medical practitioner, midwife or obstetrician. It does not represent in fact or otherwise an alternative to appropriate medical care or for professional medical advice in any way shape or form.

Any questions or doubts that you have about the use of Hypnobirthing by you or any third party in any part should be discussed by you with your medical caregiver and the safety of or the appropriateness of this programme to you or any third party whom you represent be confirmed with your medical care giver prior to undertaking the programme.

The Mindful Birth Group® Ltd, its instructors or its representatives accept no responsibility for the inappropriate use of Hypnobirthing techniques or complications or harm to any third party resulting from the use of Hypnobirthing techniques as a substitute for medical advice.

Hypnobirthing is intended solely as an ‘aid’ to ‘help’ increase the comfort of labour and birth and is not in any way a guarantee or promise of expected, imagined or actual outcome of the labour or birth in any way shape or form.

Participation in Hypnobirthing classes in any part or in total by any person or third party is undertaken with the understanding by any persons or third party that no litigation or legal action whatsoever will be initiated or that no form of compensation or reimbursement or refund will be claimed or applied for at any time now or in the future against The Mindful Birth Group® Ltd, its instructors, or its representatives under any circumstances whatsoever.

Terms and Conditions

General: In these terms & conditions “The Company” means The Mindful Birth Group® Ltd “The Client” means the person, firm or company purchasing Goods; “The Goods” means the goods or services which shall be the subject of the contract between the Company and the Client.

Orders: All orders for Goods accepted by the Company are subject to these terms & conditions.

Prices: All quoted prices are in £ Sterling. Orders are accepted by the Company for execution at prices ruling at the date of confirmation. All prices quoted by the Company are subject to alteration without notice.

Payment: Payment for all Goods ordered via the internet shall be made in full at the time of placing the order by credit card, debit card.

Legal Costs: In cases where the Company, after written notice to the Client, deems legal action to be necessary in order to obtain monies due to the Company from the Client, the Company shall be entitled to charge the Client for time and expenses incurred by such action in addition to any court, solicitors or other outside expenses incurred.

Property: The property in the Goods shall remain with the Company until payment in full has been made to the Company by the Client for the Goods and all other sums due to the Company at the date of delivery of the Goods. Where full payment has not been made to the Company and the Client uses the Goods, the property in the Goods shall be retained by the Company in so far as such Goods are identifiable.

Faults: All faults in work carried out, or Goods supplied, by the Company will be corrected at no charge to the Client. The Company’s liability extends only to work carried out, or Goods supplied, by the Company.

Law: These terms & conditions and the contract between the parties shall be constructed and applied in accordance with the Law of England and shall be subject only to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
