1 in 10 women admit they struggle to bond with their baby

A survey of mothers suggests more bonding advice from healthcare providers is needed. We're here to help.

Women’s Health Magazine UK published an article today focusing on recent research by the The Parent-Infant Foundation which found that 1 in 10 women admit they struggle to bond with their baby.

“The survey of more than 1,000 mothers by the Parent-Infant Foundation found that over 80% of the women attended five or more antenatal appointments, and 64% of these said no one talked to them about bonding or building a relationship with their baby during their antenatal care.

The survey of mothers suggests more bonding advice from healthcare providers is needed.”

The Mindful Birth Group® online Parent Hub has this information readily available on the Pregnancy Learning Zone- as we know this information is not shared prenatally, and it absolutely needs to be.

For just £10/month or as part of an antenatal course booking, expectant parents can access a whole wealth of information spanning from 12 weeks through to 1 year post-birth.

They can also try it completely free for 7 days.

We are here for expectant parents every step of the way.
