I was formerly a primary school teacher, but after being pregnant the first time, I found myself absolutely fascinated by birth.
Once I gave birth, I ended up creating a network of mums in our village and the surrounding areas and realised how much I loved supporting other women, antenatally and postnatally, even if it was just a chat! I decided to leave teaching to focus on what I believe is my true calling. I do still have a passion for learning about early childhood psychology and neurological development, which I hope to develop further to eventually be able to offer an even more rounded support to new parents.
Parents will remember me for…
Being open, honest and supportive of their choices (and a bit of a chatterbox!)
When I’m not supporting parents with their Mindful Birth prep I am…
Walking the dog, entertaining my toddlers and probably singing a bit of light opera (or nursery rhymes!)
Supporting people on their journey into parenthood is very rewarding and something I’m extremely passionate about
