Postnatal Support

We are the only antenatal course provider to provide comprehensive and live postnatal recovery preparation and support. The fourth trimester is the recovery part of birth and so it is vital that you prepare for it and understand what to expect from it too.

We so often put most of the focus on the baby during this time, but it’s important that you are cared for and supported before you can even begin to look after someone else.

At The Mindful Birth Group®. we are proud to support every parent who takes a course with us with the following:

Postnatal preparation during pregnancy:

1.5 hour live session on Zoom to talk through the hours, days, weeks and months post-birth. What to expect and how to support your recovery from all kinds of births. This includes a Q&A session and we encourage partners or anyone who will be supporting you to join too.

Postnatal planning sheet to ensure you think of all aspects of the support you will need

Pregnancy yoga which supports the mind and body ahead of postnatal recovery too.

Ask the midwife chat group to ask any questions that come up along the way. Birth preferences can change which may mean adapting your recovery plan.

Evidence-based information available via the Parent Hub to read and digest in your own time.

Live support during recovery:

1 hour live session on Zoom with a qualified postnatal doula. We recommend booking your session in the first few weeks post birth as this is when having a non-judgemental, listening ear to talk to and ask questions can be incredibly helpful.

Parent and baby yoga live on Zoom to aid physical and emotional healing and bonding with baby.

Evidence-based information available via the Parent Hub to read and digest in your own time.

Whether you opt for a private or group course with us, you can expect to be supported every step of the way.
