Not just hypnobirthing…

Mindfulness is an incredibly important part of my teaching. It is something that we all have – it’s the ability to be fully present and aware of where we are and what we’re doing. It stops us from feeling overwhelmed by what’s going on around us. Our busy lives make it difficult to access this part of ourselves, so we need to put more effort into practising it. 

Hypnobirthing is a proven and widely used set of techniques to help a woman give birth in the most relaxed and positive way. It is NOT about avoiding drugs and giving birth naturally – these techniques can be used for any birthing scenario.

The Mindful Birth Group® brings these two concepts together to create mindful birthing, with the result being a calm, happy and prepared mama, who is as ready as she can be to meet her baby, begin motherhood, and feel good about the choices she has made.
